1.Eligibility
1-1 To be eligible, you must be a Singapore Citizen.
1-2 You need to have minimum academic qualifications and good grades in the subjects that you wish to teach.
2.Commission
2-1 A one-time commission will be charged for any job offer that you accept. The commission payable is equivalent to 2 weeks of tuition fees. Kidztuition is authorized to collect the commission directly from the students / parents, two weeks after the commencement of tuition lessons.
2-2 All commissions must be paid not later than the forth week of commencement of class. Kidztuition reserves the right to take appropriate actions to recover any commissions from the students / parents in the event of delay in payment.
2-3 The students / parents will pay the tuition fees for the remaining weeks of the first month directly to the tutor upon completion of all lessons for the first month. For subsequent month, the students / parents will then pay the full sum of tuition fees directly to the tutor.
2-4 Kidztuition will not be liable for any conflict or disagreement between the tutors and students / parents. We will also not be responsible for any form of damage caused in connection with your use of our website.
2-5 If you fail to pay the commission without any notice, we reserve the right to suspend the class.
3.Termination/Cancellation of Assignment
3-1 In the event where you are unable to attend the tuition, a prior notice of 48 hours before the lesson starts, must be given to the students/parents. A valid reason must also be given on notification. The tutor will be excused if the students/parents accept your explanation. If you fail to notify or provide a valid reason of your cancellation, your registration as a tutor with Kidztuition will be revoked and an administrative charge of 50% of the monthly tuition fees will be imposed on the tutor.
3-2 The minimum commitment time frame is 1 month. In the event where the tutor terminates an assignment within the first month, Kidztuition will recover its share of commission of 50% of the monthly fees from the tutor.
3-3 In the event where the student prematurely terminates the assignment during the first month, you will only receive 50% of the payment for all your service hours. However, if the reason for the student's termination is due to your fault as a tutor (e.g. you are often late, did not turn up without any valid explanation, you cannot teach well), you will bear the full (1 month) commission charge.
4.Disclaimer
Kidztuition is a tutor referral agency only and is not responsible for the services provided by tutors. Each tutor is solely responsible in offering tuition fees, arranging tuition schedules and all other issues and responsibilities related to tutoring. Kidztuition does not keep records of the number of students and sessions taken by the registered tutors. Kidztuition will not act as an arbitrator or mediator for any conflicts or disagreements that arise between the tutor and the student. However, we are always prepared to offer our views and suggestions. Kidztuition reserves the right to add, modify or delete any information on this website at any time without notice. You are solely responsible for the information provided to Kidztuition. Kidztuition shall not be liable for any misrepresentation, fraud, or inaccuracies of information provided by you. The entire risk as to the quality, accuracy, adequacy, completeness, correctness and validity of any material rests with you. Kidztuition will not be liable for damages of any kind including, without limitation, compensatory, consequential, incidental, indirect, special or similar damages, that may result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials contained on this site whether the material is provided or otherwise supplied by you. Kidztuition is not involved in any tutor-student-parent interactions. Kidztuition is not responsible for any disputes, claims, losses, injuries, or damages that might arise during and/or after any lessons. Teaching at the student's house and interacting with the parents and students are at your own risk.
